Booking Terms & Conditions
Air tickets |
| 1. |
A non-refundable deposit of HK$1000
per person is payable immediately upon confirmation of booking
which will be automatically forfeited by the company upon
cancellation. |
| 2. |
The company will advise the date for
ticket issuance set by the carrier, which shall be referred
to herein as " Ticket Deadline". |
| 3. |
Balance payment to be made before ticket
deadline. Final airfare and taxes are to be confirmed upon
ticket issuance. |
| 4. |
Failure to make balance payment before
the ticket deadline, the flight bookings would be automatically
cancelled, and the deposit will be forfeited by the company.
Clients have to take their own responsibilities on the cancellation
and fare difference caused by whatever reasons, our company
would not be responsible for it. |
| 5. |
For cancellation of trip after balance
payment, the user agrees to bear the cost of any penalty
and administration charges for ticket issued but not utilized
for any reason, the processing time for refund is subject
to the discretion of relevant airlines. |

| Hotel Arrangements |
| 1. |
Deposit of one night hotel charge per
room is payable at time of reservation & strictly non-
refundable once booking confirmed. |
| 2. |
The balance payment is to be made within
2 days of confirmation of booking or at least 14 days prior
to check-in date, failing which all payment made shall be
automatically and absolutely forfeited by the company. |
| 3. |
Hotel charges are inclusive of local
taxes & service charge, unless otherwise specified. |
| 4. |
Any cancellation received 3 days or
more prior to check-in date, regardless of whether bookings
are confirmed or not, are subject to a charge of one night
hotel charge per room. |
| 5. |
No refunds whatsoever will be given
for any cancellation or alternation received less than 3
days prior to check-in date, regardless of whether bookings
are confirmed or not. |
| 6. |
No refunds will be given for unused
room nights. |
| 7. |
Hotel rates quoted are our special contract
rates given by the hotels and based on a discount from the
hotels’ published rates. However, the hotels have the sole
discretion to offer promotional rates lower than ours to
walk-in customers at any time without prior notice. Thus,
any cancellation made in order to avail the user to such
lower rates is still subject to the cancellation charges
listed. |

to charge a cancellation fee subject to the individual cancellation
policies of different tour operators. |
| *Applications for refund must be received by Morning
Star Travel Service Ltd within 3 months of the tour commencement
date.* |

| Change of itinerary |
| No change can be made to the printed journey, unless
by the organizers in accordance with the provisions herein once
travel has commenced. Unused portions of the itinerary and extension
nights including hotel accommodation, optional tours, air fare
or other items included in the tours, are not refundable. |

| |
| Visa arrangements |
| 1. |
Morning Star Travel Service Ltd which
acts only as “Service provider” for visa arrangements, does
not warrant and shall not be responsible for the approval
of visas by individual embassies & the visa fee is non-refundable. |
| 2. |
Cancellation of ticket, hotel vouchers
and packages due to the non-approval of visa is subject
to HK$300.00 penalty. |

| Purchase of Flight Tickets, Hotel Vouchers and
Packages |
| Flight tickets, hotel vouchers and package holidays
purchase will be subject to the terms and conditions of the various
suppliers and operators. |
| The company acts as agents for all services and
products purchased. In the event a service or product is listed
at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing
information received from our suppliers, we shall have the right
to refuse or cancel any orders placed for service or product listed
at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed
and charged. |
| The company acts as agents for all services and
products purchased, and is not liable for any claims against non-fulfillment
or unsatisfactory fulfillment of services and products purchased
on the user's behalf by the company from other third parties,
such as, but not limited to, airlines hotels, tour operators,
car hire companies, insurance companies, and other entities. |
| The user understands that all services and products
purchased require fulfillment and documentation, such as issuance
of air tickets and travel vouchers. Fulfillment is performed during
normal office hours. As such, any travel requests and bookings
made require a processing time of at least one working day's notice,
subject to the specific conditions applicable to the type of service
or product purchased. |
| In the event that any purchase cannot be fulfilled
for any reason whatsoever between the time of booking and the
time of departure, the company shall not be liable to the user
for any claims for loss, damages or compensation, subject only
that all unutilized monies collected from the user for that purchase
shall be refunded in full. |
| The company reserves the right to accept or reject
any booking and to decline any purchase for any reason whatsoever
at its sole and absolute discretion and the company shall not
be liable to the user for any claims for loss, damages or compensation
in respect thereof, subject only that any unutilized monies collected
from the user for such booking or purchase shall be refunded in
full. |
| The user agrees to bear the cost of any penalties
and administration fees for services or products booked but not
utilized for any reason. |
| The user agrees that multiple over-lapping bookings
for the same traveler/s are not allowed and may result in penalties,
which the user will bear. |
| |
| Payment of Flight Tickets, Hotel Vouchers and
Packages |
| Payment may be made by cash, cheque, credit cards,
EPS, PPS and a signature or verification may be required upon
delivery or pick-up. |
| |
| Liabilities |
| Morning Star Travel Service Ltd. and Tour Operator
shall not under any circumstances be liable, in contract, tort
or otherwise, for : |
| 1. |
Any of the expenses, damages or losses
incurred or sustained by any tour participant which arise
from or as a result of the delay or cancellation of any
scheduled flight. |
| 2. |
Any of the expenses, damages or losses
incurred or sustained by any tour participant which arise
from, or as a result of changes in the travel programmes,
routes or timetables provided that if such changes result
in a decrease in the cost to Morning Star Travel Service
Ltd., an amount equal and limited to the proportion of the
decrease attributable to that tour participant, shall be
refunded to him. |
| 3. |
It is expressly declared that all the
airlines concerned, their servants, agents, and affiliates
are not liable, in contract, tort or otherwise for any loss,
damage or injury howsoever caused to the tour participants
during the time in transit. The passenger ticket in use
by such airlines when issued, shall constitute the sole
contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these
tickets and/or the tour participants and the tour participants
shall be deemed to have full notice of the terms and conditions
of such contractors. |
| 4. |
It is also expressly declared that Morning
Star Travel Service Ltd. and the Tour Operators act only
as agents for the owners or contractors providing the means
of transportation or other services during the course of
the tour. All tickets for such means of transportation or
other services are issued subject to any and all terms and
conditions under which such services are offered or provided,
and the issuance and acceptance of such tickets shall be
deemed to be agreement by the tour participants to the further
conditions that Morning Star Travel Service Ltd. and/or
the tour operator shall not be or become liable or responsible
in any way for any loss, damages, injury, accident, delay,
changes in schedule, hotel overlooking or other inconvenience
to the tour participant, the property or effect of such
tour participant, howsoever caused by such means of transportation
or other services. |

| Force Majeure |
| Morning Star Travel Service Ltd. has the sole and
absolute discretion to cancel or shorten the duration of any tour
in the event of force majeure, hostilities, accident or other
circumstances beyond its control which render it necessary in
her reasonable opinion that such steps be taken, and shall be
relieved from all liabilities and obligations resulting therefrom,
upon notice to the tour participants and full refund of any amount
paid for the tour or the unused portions of the tour, as appropriate. |

| Governing Law |
| The use of this web-site and the terms and conditions
set out above shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region. |
